‘THE Prone Competition’

Prone/surf Foiling is categorised by the rider paddling into a wave in a laid position then popping up and rising onto foil to ride that wave or pump back out and connect onto another, or multiple waves.

Riders will be judged on the speed, power, flow, positioning and technicality whilst riding.

Prone riders are not permitted to use assistance from a wing, paddle or motor.

The 2026 kernow foil classic is suppOrted by F-One includes a mens and womens elite division and mixed Amateur jam division

‘the Wing competition’

Wing foiling allows riders to utilise a hand wing on and off the wave to aid with speed and power.

RiderS will be judged on on the speed, power, flow, positioning and technicality whilst riding the wave.

Riding will be judged from the entry to the exit of the wave

Wing riders are permitted to use hard or soft wings.

The 2026 kernow foil classic includes a mens and womens elite division and mixed Amateur jam division

‘Foil Assist’

the 2026 kernow foil classic will not include a foil assist category

despite attempts to gain approval to involve it.
